Profile and experience

Jenna qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2005, gaining a Bsc Hons degree and set her sights firmly on a career within Paediatrics.

Jenna now has over 7 years experience within Paediatrics in the NHS. During this time she has worked in both the community and acute environments, treating children age 0-19 with a diverse range of neurological, musculoskeletal and respiratory conditions of varying complexity, this has included post SDR rehabilitation.

Specific management of PMLD patients in a variety of settings means that Jenna has worked clinically both on land and in the hydrotherapy pool to formulate individualised management and treatment programmes.
In her most recent NHS post, Jenna has advanced clinical responsibilities in postural care and equipment provision, working with the wider MDT for children with complex neurological presentation.

Jenna is always keen to further her skills and knowledge base and has completed numerous post-graduate courses, including hydrotherapy, the management of cerebral palsy and JEMS Paediatrics.

Jenna is passionate about patient-centred goal setting, always keeping the child’s aspirations at the heart of everything she does. She has a great desire for children to achieve their maximal potential and prides herself on being flexible, dynamic and approachable.
