Faye Stones qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2012 with a Postgraduate Diploma in Physiotherapy from the University of Huddersfield.
Prior to that she graduated from the University of Central Lancashire with a First class Honours degree in Sports Therapy, and following this she also completed a PGCE at the University of Huddersfield. Faye started her career in Semi Professional Football and the Private MSK Industry working her way up to Regional Clinical Lead where she was responsible for the training and management of junior Physiotherapists within the company. Alongside building her Physiotherapy career, Faye worked as a college lecturer at two local colleges teaching anatomy and physiology, sports injuries and sports massage to adults and further education students.
During her training as a Physiotherapist, Faye travelled to Kosovo alongside a local charity and performed training for local teachers at a school specialising in children with Downs Syndrome. Over the years working as a Physiotherapist, Faye has developed a special interest in working with children with a wide range of Neurological and Musculoskeletal presentations. She has a special interest in Retained Reflex Therapy, pelvic floor dysfunction in paediatrics and developmental delay.
Faye Stones tailors her approach by actively involving family in the rehabilitation process. She uses her creativity and brings great energy to sessions in order to make sure all therapy sessions are effective and fun!
