Beth qualified in 2011 with a BSc hons degree in Physiotherapy at Manchester metropolitan university.
Beth worked within the NHS initially rotating through acute and community adult services. After spending 15 months in Asia and Australia where she also worked as a Physiotherapy assistant, Beth decided to pursue her dream of working as a children’s physiotherapist. This was something that Beth had always wanted to do following completing a placement at a children’s hospital when she was studying her degree.
Beth has since worked in community and outpatient settings with children with a range of different conditions including Cerebral Palsy, developmental delay, Down’s syndrome, Muscular Dystrophy and Spina Bifida. Her role requires her to work closely with families and other professionals including paediatricians, occupational therapists, nurses and play specialists. Her role also takes her into nurseries and schools.
Beth is passionate about working with children and their families towards their goals. Her treatment approach involves getting to know her clients and their interests so that she can tailor each session and make it fun for each individual. “
