Stacey qualified in 2014 with a BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise and progressed on to a MSc Applied Sport and Exercise Science in 2015 both from Sheffield Hallam University. She’s currently in the process of obtaining her UKSCA (UK Strength and Conditioning Association) and SENR (Sport and Exercise Nutrition Register) accreditations.
Stacey’s expertise lies in strength and conditioning, and nutrition. Her experience includes working with a Doncaster-based Great Britain Taekwondo club supporting a range of athletes with their performance within these areas. Whilst working with the club, she worked with a variety of age groups as she enjoys building new relationships and working closely with individuals to support their goals.
Stacey has worked closely with our physiotherapy team to build up knowledge and experience of neurological conditions and she is now taking new clients who are pre and post Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR).
Having a background within Taekwondo herself, Stacey has always taken a keen interest in sport. While she’s worked within sport environments, her passions come from the role of exercise in improving health and fitness, and quality of life and, also, the human body – its anatomy and functionality.
